We took our pedal-power kit to CSpace Newquay yesterday to take part in Trovya, organised by Arts Well. The main aim of Trovya – which means “discover” in Cornish – is to connect artists and creatives with other organisations and practitioners, health and care professionals, social prescribers, the wider cultural sector and the local community.

We took our bikes and a our Christmas Tree to demonstrate the kit. Blystra Arts have a long history of partnering with organisations in the health and social sector. We have worked with Action for Children's Cornwall SPACE, Youth Art Connect and St Petrocs in the past, and our pedal-power is suited to wellbeing. It was well-worth attending so we could meet some old friends and make some new ones.

We hope that the Trovya events are a big success over the coming months and that some great link-ups are forged to assist in peoples' health and well-being here in Cornwall and beyond.
